TxDOT Effort Makes Child Safety Seats a Priority by Texas Department of Transportation
Offices Statewide Gear Up to Help Save Young Lives

Paris -- The National Highway Safety Administration estimates that roughly three of every four child safety seats are not used correctly. TxDOT offices statewide now offer parental education on the installation and proper use of child passenger safety seats.

Overnight Lane Closures set for Loy Lake Road Bridge on July 17 by Texas Department of Transportation
PARIS – Motorists who travel on US Highway 75 in the Sherman-Denison area should make special note of construction at the Loy Lake Road Bridge on July 17. Weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation will close a portion of US 75 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. to install a bridge beam across southbound traffic lanes.

Motorists traveling southbound on US 75 will be diverted onto the frontage road before reaching the Loy Lake Road . . .
