Austin College Lecture Addresses Academic Performance of Students  by Austin College
SHERMAN, TEXAS—Austin College will host Stephanie A. Fryberg as she presents the lecture “Culturally Grounded Interventions to Enhance Academic Performance for Native American and First-Generation College Students” Thursday, November 6, at 11 a.m. in Hoxie Thompson Auditorium of Sherman Hall. Preston Trail Chapter NSDAR Promotes Literacy by Preston Trail NSDAR
The Preston Trail Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting October 16th at Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro, Texas.

Regent Lisa Lettie called the meeting to order and recognized guests including Nancy Ross the program speaker. Ms. Ross is the Regent of the General Bernardo de Galvez Chapter in Allen. Her topic was “Paul Revere and His Wives”.

Preston Trail DAR October Meeting by Preston Trail NSDAR
The Preston Trail Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) will meet at 6:00pm Thursday, October 16th at Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro. Regent Lisa Lettie will conduct the session. Catered dinner begins at 5:00pm with a cost of $10.
