Austin College Theatre Students Presents a feminine ending by Austin College
SHERMAN, TEXAS¡ªThe Austin College theatre program will present Sarah Treem¡¯s a feminine ending in Ida Green Communication Center¡¯s Ida Green Theatre October 30 through November 1 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $8 per person or free to students with an Austin College ID. Preston Trail Chapter NSDAR Promotes Literacy by Preston Trail NSDAR
The Preston Trail Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting October 16th at Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro, Texas.

Regent Lisa Lettie called the meeting to order and recognized guests including Nancy Ross the program speaker. Ms. Ross is the Regent of the General Bernardo de Galvez Chapter in Allen. Her topic was “Paul Revere and His Wives”.

Austin College Lecture Will Examine Johnny Appleseed by Austin College
SHERMAN, TEXAS—Austin College will host 1985 alumnus and history professor William Kerrigan presenting the address, “Johnny Appleseed: St. Francis or Steve Jobs?,” Friday, October 24, at 1:30 p.m. in Hoxie Thompson Auditorium of Sherman Hall. The lecture, sponsored by the ‘Roos Who Write Conference and the Austin College History Department, is free and open to the public.
