Preston Trail Chapter NSDAR Promotes Literacy by Preston Trail NSDAR
The Preston Trail Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting October 16th at Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro, Texas.

Regent Lisa Lettie called the meeting to order and recognized guests including Nancy Ross the program speaker. Ms. Ross is the Regent of the General Bernardo de Galvez Chapter in Allen. Her topic was “Paul Revere and His Wives”.

Preston Trail DAR October Meeting by Preston Trail NSDAR
The Preston Trail Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) will meet at 6:00pm Thursday, October 16th at Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro. Regent Lisa Lettie will conduct the session. Catered dinner begins at 5:00pm with a cost of $10.

Local DAR Chapter Helps Veteran of WWII by Preston Trail NSDAR
Local WWII U.S. Army veteran, Dillard D. Graham of Sherman is the first recipient of financial assistance from Opening Doors for Disabled Veterans. Opening Doors is an assistance program offered by Preston Trail NSDAR to all disabled veterans in Grayson County. The program is designed to assist veterans with widening interior doorways to an accessible width of 36” allowing for a wheelchair or walker.
