SHERMAN, TEXAS-Austin College vocalists Anna Bryant '13 and Evan Runyon '13 will present a Senior Recital on March 3 at 3 p.m. in Craig Hall, Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.

A mezzo soprano, Anna's performance will include Schubert's "Gretchen am Spinnrade," Gershwin's "Summertime" from Porgy and Bess; "Wie Melodien zieht es mir" by Brahms; "O del mio dolce ardor" by Gluck; Menotti's "The Black Swan" from The Medium; "Porgi, amor" by Mozart from Le Nozze Di Figaro; Purcell's "When I am Laid in Earth" from Dido and Aeneas; and Bizet's "L'amour est un oiseau rebelle" from Carmen.

Daughter of John and Nancy Bryant of McKinney, Texas, Anna studied music since age 13 and is a member of Austin College's A Cappella Choir. "Musical performance has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember," she said. "I can't imagine a life without it, and I look forward to keeping music as a part of my life after Austin College."

Anna is completing a major in history and a minor in environmental studies.

Evan is a member of the A Cappella Choir and Consort. He also is a member of the College Pep Band. He will present another recital on Saturday, April 6, to showcase his original compositions. The son of Jonathan and Lisa Runyon of Carrollton, Texas, Evan is completing a major in music and a minor in art.
